In January 2017, Innocent Chukwuma was gracious with his time as he shared the evolution of civil society organisations in Nigeria with Seun Onigbinde (Budgit), Gbenga Sesan (Paradigm Initiative), Debola Williams (YNaija) & I.

An outcome of the conversation was a commitment to host monthly conversations where we can learn from each other through intergenerational conversations. Due to my ill health, we were unfortunately unable to execute the idea last year, but we're back!

We dubbed the gathering 

'Thursday Talks Lagos'

 and it will happen in different locations in Lagos every last Thursday of the month. 

We describe it as a monthly conversation with thought leaders, change agents and active citizens.

 We are hoping other active communities of civil society actors - Abuja, Kano etc - will also pick it up and host similar events.

The maiden conversation is next week
