#AnambraDecides
Dear Active Citizens,Coolu Temper!Amid the tense atmosphere and ongoing agitations in Anambra State, the Chairman, Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, at the emergency meeting of the Inter-Agency Consultative Committee on Election Security (ICCES), held on October 5, 2021, has assured indigenes and Nigerians at large, that the Commission is determined to proceed with the election as scheduled. The final list of candidates will be published by the Commission tomorrow. So, if you are still indecisive about participating in the forthcoming elections in Anambra, let's take you down memory lane to see how citizens performed in the last three guber elections.
As we countdown to the elections, if you are in Anambra or its environs, join us every Thursday on the Office Of The Citizen Radio Show where we discuss topical issues and educate citizens on their rights and responsibilities. Remember, "The office of the Citizen is the highest office in the land!"
Nigerian youths! We have the power to decide our next President and duty bearers, come 2023, if only we decide to vote. However, the journey to a new democratic era starts by completing the ongoing Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) online. Registration started again on Monday, October 4th and will end for this year on December 20th.If you have not completed your physical registration, visit the INEC or LG offices closest to you. Let's make hay while the sun shines!Register today.
Enjoy the rest of your week! The EiE Nigeria Team
