Dear Active Citizen,The past few weeks have been inundated with unfortunate news about how trivial human lives have become in Nigeria - kidnappings, violent killings and mob actions continue unabated. From the gruesome killing of security operatives in Imo, to the murder of Deborah Yakubu in Sokoto and the lynching of David Imoh by commercial motor-cyclists in Lagos. When will all this end?

Our government and security agencies must ensure that beyond arrests, perpetrators of these heinous acts, are made to face the full weight of the law.
