signed the Petroleum Industry Bill (PIB) 2021 into law amidst heavy criticisms from southern stakeholders who demanded 5% provision for host communities rather than the allocated 3%, and voiced their displeasure with the suggested ownership structure of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC).

Insecurity in Nigeria

How many more school children have to be abducted before the government wakes up to its responsibilities? Hundreds of people are still being held captive yet more are being abducted.On Wednesday, August 18, 2021, 8 Islamiyya school pupils and one teacher in Sakkai village in Faskari LGA, Katsina State, were abducted by bandits while attending evening lessons within the school premises. Their whereabouts are still unknown, as of Thursday, August 19, 2021. In a separate incident, three persons were also killed when bandits attacked Batsari town, Batsari LGA, Katsina State.Enough is Enough! We will keep asking Mr President to honor his oath of office!
