Dear Active Citizen,Did you miss the news?Last month, our Executive Director, ‘Yemi Adamolekun was recognised by Global Citizen, an international advocacy organisation and named a Global Citizen Prize Winner - 2022 Citizen Award Nigeria.

‘Yemi started her advocacy journey in 2010 during her National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), when a friend invited her to a protest against killings in Jos, Plateau State, then President Umar Yar' Adua's absence, and fuel scarcity in Nigeria. She has leveraged the power of

to cause great impact in the civic space in Nigeria. Now, 12 years later, she is still organising and educating Nigerians on ways to hold leaders accountable through the organisation she helped launch in 2011,
