And if we do not understand the past and build upon its successes, it is very likely that our success, however important, will be limited, our progress will be stunted, and the future will continue to mirror the past.

Dear {{First name|Active Citizen}},

On March 16, 2025, EiE Nigeria quietly turned 15. Fifteen years since young Nigerians rose with one voice to say "Enough is Enough"! Fifteen years of protests, petitions, campaigns, debates, civic education, radio programmes, and policy shifts.

Fifteen years of showing up online, offline, and everywhere change called.

But this November, we gather to celebrate it loudly. Together. In style.

Our anniversary theme, “Footprints & Frontlines,” is more than a reflection, it’s a tribute to every Nigerian who has dared to act.

  1. Footprints honour the path EiE has walked - from mobilizing protests and campaigns, to driving civic education, holding town halls, and building platforms that connect citizens with their representatives and every civic space in between.

  2. Frontlines speak to where we all are now -  in classrooms, boardrooms, marketplaces, media spaces, hospitals, courtrooms, and digital communities -anywhere Nigerians are doing honest work to make this country better.

You don’t need a placard to be on the frontline. If you’re using your voice, your skill, your vote, or your influence to push Nigeria forward, you’re part of this story.

Save the date and join us in honouring 15 years of citizen engagement and shared progress.

Fuel the Frontlines!

If you’ve ever marched, voted, tweeted, or spoken up - you’ve been part of EiE’s story.

As we mark 15 years of citizen power, your donation helps us continue this work into the future.

Enjoy the rest of the week!
The EiE Nigeria Team.
