In December 2015, Lilian Essien was laden with the pain of losing her almost 3-year-old son, Shawn, to medical negligence.She petitioned the Medical & Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN) in February 2016 and on Tuesday, July 9, 2019, Dr. Nwiku Mezie Vitalis was found guilty of medical negligence. Templars provided pro bono legal counsel. We are grateful for your contribution to see this case through and we hope to help other citizens get justice and speak up against injustice! EiE Nigeria is committed to giving voice to the voiceless.Keep supporting us!
