Assault on the Rule of Law: #FreeSowore
Justice Taiwo Taiwo of the Federal High Court, Abuja has ordered the immediate release of Omoyele Sowore, Convener of #RevolutionNow protest, after spending 52 days in detention by the Department of State Services (DSS). He was given bail condition to deposit all his travel documents within the court premises within 48 hours. 3 days after the judgment and meeting the bail conditions, he is still being held in DSS custody.
Senate Investigation on Elisha Abbo
The Senate Ad-hoc Committee set up to investigate Senator Elisha Abbo's case of assault was expected to present the report of its findings on Wednesday, July 24th, two months after its self-imposed deadline, the Committee is yet to present its findings.Active citizens!
