#StopTheKillings in Rivers
On Wednesday, September 18th, the Rotary Women, Port Harcourt in partnership with over 70 organizations staged a peace walk against the serial killing of women in Rivers State. They called for an end to the unacceptable trend in the state.We urge the Nigeria Police to ensure the arrested suspect is thoroughly investigated and made to face the full weight of the law.#StopTheKillings
#OfficeOfTheCitizen Activated
Active citizens under the aegis of The Coalition for Revolution (CORE) staged a peaceful protest on Wednesday, September 18th over the unlawful arrest and continued detention of Omoyele Sowore, Agba Jalingo and Olawale Adebayo. The coalition and active citizens demand their immediate release and others still unjustly detained.
