Budget 2020

President Mohammadu Buhari presented the 2020 Budget of Sustaining Growth and Job Creation to the National Assembly on Tuesday, October 8th. 

 2020 NASS Budget   

The Federal Government has appropriated N125 billion to the National Assembly in the proposed 2020 Budget despite repeated refusals of the federal legislators to make public the details of their 2018 and 2019 budgets. Given the oversight duties of the National Assembly in scrutinizing the federal budget prepared by the Executive arm, it is expected on the basis of public accountability that the lawmakers should likewise disclose details of their own budget for public scrutiny.The National Assembly can't be the judge and the jury in reviewing its budget.

Sex for grades is one of the endemic problems bedevilling Nigeria's tertiary institutions.
