The anti-corruption campaign of President Muhammadu Buhari suffered a huge blow recently with the reinstatement & promotion of wanted Former Chairman of the Pension Reforms Task Team (PRTT), Mr Abdulrasheed Maina over his alleged complicity in the over N2billion Pension Biometric Scam. The Minister of Interior, Mr Abdulraman Dambazau and the Attorney-General of the Federation (AGF), Mr Abubakar Malami were fingered in this shameful reinstatement.
Active citizens’ outcry prompted President Buhari to sack Mr Maina and ordered a full report on the circumstances surrounding his reinstatement.
Is Buhari led government really fighting corruption? His ‘body language’ says otherwise.
