The verification of signatures of those seeking the recall of Mr Dino Melaye (Senator, Kogi West) held on Saturday, April 28th. Only 5.34% of his constituents verified their signatures and this does not satisfy the constitutional requirement to conduct a referendum.
#WhereIsThe2018Budget
President Buhari presented the proposed 2018 National Budget of N8.612 trillion to the National Assembly on November 7, 2017. 177 days after it was presented, the 2018 Appropriation Bill is not yet passed by the National Assembly.
Mr Ahmed Lawan (Senator, Yobe North) promised the budget will be passed the week ending, May 4th but Nigerians still await its passage.
