SMW 2017 Wrap Party

Office of the Citizen Hackathon 2.0 - Not Everytime Rant; Sometimes ACT!

Hosted by CcHUB in collaboration with BudgIT and Paradigm Initiative, the 3-day hackathon had 5 mixed–teams of software designers, developers, programmers and active citizens working together to develop platforms and solutions to improve citizen engagement. The ‘MedPolice’ team who designed a platform for citizens to report cases of medical negligence, won!

The 3 finalists showcased their solutions during the demo session at #SMWLagos.

EiE's Yemi Adamolekun , BudgIT's Seun Onigbinde and 12 entrepreneurs had earlier written an open letter to the Central Bank governor, demanding for his resignation, due to CBN’s policies which have grossly affected the economy. The letter appeared in Vanguard on Monday, February 27th.Would you like to sign up or donate towards the publication in other newspapers?
