Season of Recalls!

Following the example of active citizens in Kogi State, active citizens in Niger, Kaduna, Ondo and Ebonyi States are exploring the recall process for their lawmakers due to a loss of confidence in their abilities to represent their interests in the National Assembly.

The constitution provides for the recall of a non-performing legislator but there has been no successful attempt since our return to democracy in 1999.
