Nigerian Politicians League

Friday, June 26, 2020 EiE Nigeria Weekly Update

“Politics can damage any friendship except the friendship of politicians themselves.”- Tolu Ogunlesi (Writer & Journalist)

They say, my friend’s enemy is my enemy. So

when does your enemy become your friend? It is all about interest and changes in perspectives

. Therefore, there are permanent interests but no permanent friends.

At the moment, it has been a drama roller coaster in the political sphere

as poverty of ideology has continued to affect the Nigerian democratic system with the Edo and Ondo gubernatorial elections approaching.

Will the people of Edo and Ondo get it right at the elections?

Shine your eye! Citizens be wise!!!

Stay tuned for information on debates!

As the world marks the International Day in Support of Victims of Torture today, we remember the 112 Chibok girls, Leah Sharibu and other kidnapped victims. We can only imagine what they are going through in the hands of their abductors. Our hope is that they will soon be reunited with their families. We remain unflinching in our demand for the release of the 112 Chibok girls, Leah Sharibu and other kidnapped victims.

Have a great weekend,The EiE Nigeria Team
