 Justice be served! 

Concerned Nigerians protested the conduct of Elisha Ishaku Abbo (PDP, Adamawa  North Senatorial District) to the National Assembly and the Nigeria Police HQ in Abuja on Wednesday, July 3rd demanding investigation and prosecution.Recall that Mr. Elisha Abbo was caught on camera physically assaulting a woman at an adult toy shop in Abuja. The Senate set up a 6-man committee to investigate the issue. The actions & the public outcry forced Senator Abbo to publicly apologize for his actions.

#OfficeOfTheCitizen in Action  

6 students and a lecturer from Madonna University, Okija were arrested and detained on Monday, February 11th for allegedly posting malicious information about the school. They were granted bail on Wednesday, July 3rd and released on Thursday, July 4th after public outcry.

#OfficeOfTheCitizen was successfully activated in Nigeria this week!

Senator Elisha Abbo apologized to the nursing mother whom he assaulted.

Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo of Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA) stepped down from the pulpit as he is being investigated for allegedly raping Busola Dakolo.

President Buhari suspended the Ruga Settlement Project on Wednesday, July 3rd after public outcry. 

 Protest to the National Assembly  

Active citizens under the aegis of 'Let's Step Up' movement protested to the National Assembly on Wednesday, July 3rd for transparency and downward review of the National Assembly members' salaries and allowances.
