#2019Budget  

President Muhammadu Buhari presented the 2019 budget to the National Assembly on Wednesday, December 19th. The N8.83 trillion is N27 billion lower than the 2018 budget of N9.1 trillion.

Victory for #OfficeOfTheCitizen  

A former lecturer at the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife, Prof. Richard Iyiola Akindele was sentenced to two years in prison by Justice Maureen Onyetenu for sexually harassing his student, Monica Osagie.This judgement is a major boost for the campaign against sexual harassment especially in tertiary institutions.Thank you Abiola Akiode - Afolabi for defending Monica which has resulted in a first guilty verdict against the university don.Active citizenship in action! Use your voice!!!

The #BringBackOurGirls Lagos family on Wednesday, December 19th, organized a children's Christmas party at the Ejigbo area of Lagos. We hope that the missing  girls will once again have a reason to dance and smile again.

We will observe all public holidays (Tuesday, December 25th; Wednesday, December 26th; Tuesday; January 1st) and run skeletal operations until January 7, 2019. Our weekly newsletters will return on Friday, January 12th. Messages will be sent out if there is a call to action.
