Police Declare Dino Melaye Wanted!

The police on Wednesday 28th March 2018 declared Senator Dino Melaye (Kogi West) wanted. According to a statement by the police, Mr Melaye was declared wanted for allegedly providing false information to the police in relation to an alleged attempt on his life. However, shortly before being declared wanted, Mr Melaye was on the floor of the Senate during which he lambasted the police and alleged conspiracy against him. Did Mr Melaye abscond after Senate plenary for the police to have declare him wanted? Kogi’s Commissioner of Police has since been removed.
