In 2014, EiE's first fundraising dinner tagged 'An Unforgettable Evening' featured an auction of notable Nigerians in business, arts and literature.

Atinuke, who won the bid to spend time with Kemi Adetiba, a renowned music video director, was featured in Tiwa Savage's My Darlin music video.

Angry Youths Attack Federal Lawmakers for Poor Representation

Angry youths attacked Mr Joshua Lidani (Senator, Gombe South) on Tuesday, April 3rd at the headquarters of Balanga Local Government, Gombe. The youths accused Mr Lidani of abandoning them since he got elected in 2015. He was eventually freed by a detachment of soldiers.In Taraba, angry constituents also stoned Mr Garba Hamman Julde (Bali/Gassol Federal Constituency). He was accused of abandoning his constituency for 2 years. He was eventually whisked away by security operatives.Active citizens! Julius Bio of the Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP) defeated the incumbent president Samura Kamara in the Sierra Leone Presidential election run–off conducted on Saturday, March 31st. The first-round election held on March 7th and Mr Bio had 43.3% of the total votes while Mr Kamara had 42.7%. Mr Bio was a military leader and ruled the country for 3 months before he handed over power to a civilian regime in 1996.
