"What counts in life is not the mere fact that we have lived. It is what difference we have made to the lives of others that will determine the significance of the life we lead."- Nelson Mandela (Former President of South Africa)
Dear Friend,
You are cordially invited to
at EiE’s Fundraising Dinner on
Sunday, April 15th
.
The 2014 dinner was tagged ‘An Unforgettable Evening’ and it was indeed unforgettable!
‘Light a Candle’
is our theme for the evening and it’s a quote by W.L Watkinson –
“Yet is it far better to light the candle than to curse the darkness.”
The phrase is at the heart of our work to educate citizens on their rights and responsibilities, so that we move from ranting to acting and occupy the ‘
Office of the Citizen
’ which is the
highest
office in the land.
We hope to raise money for our
Office of the Citizen
and
