EiE’s story proves that a small group of committed citizens can wake a nation’s conscience. For 15 years, we’ve turned frustration into action. And we’re just getting started.

Dear {{First name|Active Citizen}},

Two weeks ago, we told you about our 15th anniversary celebration - Footprints & Frontlines. Today, we’re excited to share the incredible lineup of voices who'll be joining us to mark this milestone.

The evening opens with a keynote from Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, WTO Director-General, a full-circle moment connecting the speech that sparked EiE 15 years ago to the movement we’ve become.

Short, powerful calls to civic engagement will follow, from Fola Adeola, co-founder of GTCO Group and chairman of FATE Foundation; Oby Ezekwesili, founder and chair of the School of Politics, Policy and Governance (SPPG); His Highness Khalifa Muhammad Sanusi, Emir of Kano; Omobola Johnson, Nigeria’s first Minister of Communication Technology; Frank Aigbogun, CEO of BusinessDay Media Ltd; Bishop Matthew Hassan Kukah of the Catholic Diocese of Sokoto; and MI Abaga, rapper, producer and entrepreneur

There’s more. We’ll be premiering a short film capturing the heart of our work over the past 15 years, presenting the second edition of Footprints: Past. Present. Future. as we honour Christopher Kolade, who wrote the foreword, and showcasing a special cartoon exhibition by Mike Asukwo, Nigeria’s leading political cartoonist. And yes, there will be food and music - because what’s a celebration without them? 😍

With Ayo Mairo-Ese and Ebuka Obi-Uchendu hosting, this night will be unforgettable.

The event is strictly by invitation but there are a few seats for those who would like to celebrate with us. Register here - bit.ly/EiE15th.

Attendees will receive an invitation via email.
